CLASSROOM OF THE FUTURE: Cultural Shift was extremely pleased to be a integral part of the collaborative effort of Dull Olson Weekes-IBI Architects, Saxton Bradley, Inc, VS America, GLUMAC, Tandus Centiva and PPS at the most recent CEFPI Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon. Several pieces of the Shift+ line were utilized to demonstrate personalized learning spaces. Adaptability of space and diverse learning environments that allow for a multitude of learning styles are critical for every student to become a global learner, contributor and learner. Flexible spaces should allow for multidisciplinary education through design thinking and creative problem solving. These spaces need to be connected to the word via ever-changing modes of technology in order to respond to individual personalities and yet undiscovered needs.
